INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM – COMPLETION OF THE SPORTS PROJECT OF SKATE CONCÓN OKULTO CLUB

Skate Concon Okulto, through the Competitive Grants Program of Central Colmito of International Power Services, has completed its project to build new ramps and obstacles for the children of the organization.

“Skateboarding: More Than a Sport, a Refuge for Dreaming”

In every jump, every fall, and every attempt, skateboarding becomes much more than a board with wheels. For many children and young people, it is a silent language through which they learn to express themselves—a refuge where worries dissolve in speed, and a school without walls where perseverance, courage, and friendship are taught.

Watching a child step onto a skateboard for the first time is witnessing the birth of a passion. In their eyes shines the excitement of discovery, the freedom of movement, and the desire to improve. No matter how many times they fall, what truly matters is that they always get back up. That is the magic of skateboarding: teaching us that every mistake is simply a step forward.

In plazas, on streets, and in every corner where there is space to ride, small communities are formed where age, background, or personal history do not matter. Everyone speaks the same language—the language of respect, perseverance, and love for what they do.

Because skateboarding does not only build physical skills. It builds character. It creates bonds. It inspires dreams. And for many children and young people, that can change everything.
