Central Yungay of International Power Services delivered the materials required for the implementation of an infrastructure project aimed at improving the habitability and safety conditions of Escuela Colicheu G-1119. This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Parents and Guardians Association of Escuela Colicheu, the Ilustre Municipalidad de Cabrero, and the school’s educational community.

The project includes the participation of the Municipality of Cabrero, represented by its mayor, Yusef Sabag; the Director of the Municipal Department of Education (DAEM), María José Arriagada; and the school principal, Judith Urra, who emphasized the importance of collaborative work among the public sector, private sector, and organized community.

Thanks to the commitment and management efforts of the Parents and Guardians Association, the school administration, and the Municipal Department of Education of Cabrero, a cooperation agreement was signed between the DAEM, International Power Services, and Escuela G-1119 Colicheu. This agreement will allow for the construction of part of the school’s perimeter fencing.

As part of this educational infrastructure improvement plan, International Power Services will provide the necessary materials, while the DAEM will supply the labor for the execution of the works, thereby contributing to strengthening the safety and well-being of the students.

This significant milestone reflects the organization, vision, and ongoing efforts of the parents and guardians, who promoted this initiative with their children’s well-being in mind, working in coordination with the Neighborhood Association and the leadership team of Escuela G-1119 Colicheu, thus strengthening the development of the entire school community.
